Introduction 

Welcome to ScryptX(TM) Limited (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By using our apps, ScryptX(TM) Mail and the Encryptor App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

Age Restrictions 

Our services are available for individuals who are 13 years of age or older. By using our apps, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. 

User Accounts 

To use certain features, such as encryption and decryption, you must create a ScipherX(TM) account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. If you lose your credentials, you can reset them using the ScipherX(TM) account service. 

Privacy and Data Collection 

We do not collect or store any personal data beyond what is required for account creation. We may, however, use third-party tools like Google Analytics for usage analytics. Third-Party Services 

When using ScryptX(TM) Mail, users log in via Microsoft or Google services. You are responsible for complying with the respective terms of service of these providers. Please refer to Microsoft and Google’s Terms of Service for more details. 

Encryption Technology 

Our apps use industry-standard AES encryption. While we take reasonable measures to secure the encrypted content, we do not offer any guarantees on encryption strength or the security of your data. You are responsible for safeguarding your encrypted content. 

User Responsibilities 

As a user, you agree not to use our services for illegal activities, including but not limited to: 

• Distribution of harmful, illegal, or malicious software. 

• Circumventing any security protocols. 

• Engaging in fraudulent activities. 

You are responsible for the lawful use of the app in your jurisdiction. 

File and Content Sharing (Encryptor App) 

The Encryptor app allows you to encrypt any file or content, with no file size limitations. Once encrypted, content can be shared using your device’s native sharing options. Recipients who do not have a ScipherX(TM) account will be provided a temporary password for decryption via our web-based service. 

Limitation of Liability 

We are not responsible for any lost emails, failed encryption, or decryption. You use our services at your own risk, and we are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. 

Termination of Access 

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the apps at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to legal requests or violations of these Terms. No prior notice will be provided. 

Changes to the Terms 

We may modify these Terms at any time, without prior notice. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Terms of Service page for any updates. 

Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
